Ekarikthin

The word Ekarikthin means that "sharing the same heritage" which is Nagaland's Techno-Cultural Fusion. Ekarikthin, NIT Nagaland's annual extravaganza, is a vibrant fusion of Nagaland's rich culture and cutting-edge technology. Young talents take center stage in dance competitions i.e Feet On Fire , rock showdowns (Battle of the Bands), DJ nights , and pageants (Mr. & Miss Ekarikthin - Ridzy , in which a round where traditional attires are worn and compete on how well they resemble their tradition .), and Cosplay which is famous among the Youth of Nagaland ( Anime enthusiasts - Otaku) .Brainpower is celebrated with quizzes, debates, and spelling bees. Tech enthusiasts battle it out in robotics contests, coding competitions, and online gaming tournaments. And traditional events like Rangoli are also taken place. Ekarikthin also promotes social initiatives through the annual marathon.

Every year farewell event is organised to bid good bye to our dear friends, seniors, and colleagues who are leaving NIT NAGALAND. It’s a special moment to share memories, gratitude, and best wishes. A Farewell Party is a heartfelt celebration honouring students who are completing their academic journey. It's a bittersweet occasion to express gratitude for their contributions to the college community, share cherished memories, and wish them success in their future endeavours. The event typically includes a mix of fun-filled activities, games, and performances that create a lively atmosphere.
