His area of research interest involves synthesis and characterization of core shell magnetic nanoparticles for hyperthermia application.

  • Krishna Priya joined the group as a Research Scholar in the year 2020. She completed her MSc from Assam University. Her area of interest is in rare earth doped ferrites for the application in magnetic hyperthermia. She finds solace in exploring adventurous places, believes that cooking is love made edible and is a plant lover. She often says “There’s beauty in the mess” and lives by it.

  • Moatoshi joined the group as a research scholar in the year 2020. He completed his Masters in Physics from Kohima Science College, Nagaland in 2020. His research is mainly focused on Transition and Rare-Earth substitution on Hexaferrite Nanoparticles for Permanent Magnet application.

  • Mhon joined the group as a Research Scholar in the year 2021. He completed his MSc from Nagaland University 2016. His area of interest is in Multiferroic/ Spinel ferrites/ Nanocomposite, Magnetic hyperthermia.

  • Gongotree joined the group in April, 2021. She completed masters (Physics) in 2020 from NIT Nagaland. Her research work involves studying the correlation between Anisotropy and Dipolar interactions of Ferrite based Nanomaterials for hyperthermia applications. She is on a never ending quest for literary adventures and unforgettable travel experiences.

  • Akivikali joined the group in August, 2022. She completed her MSc in Physics in the year 2022 from NIT Nagaland. Her research field covers the first principles study on 2D Magnets (Fe4GeTe2).

  • Pangao was born on a picturesque hills of Mon district, Nagaland. Completed his Msc Physics in the year 2021 from NIT, Nagaland and further joined the group as research scholar in Jan, 2023. His research work involves the experimental study of W-type hexaferrites in magnetic application. In his leisure time, he loves SLEEPING.

  • Abegail belongs to Yimkhiung tribe of Nagaland. She completed her Post Graduate from Sikkim University in the year 2020. Joined the group in January 2023 as a research scholar and her area of research involves the study of rare earth free Heusler alloys for magnetic applications. She spends her most weekends reading, gardening, crafting and tries to sing every day.

  • Mangli completed his Masters in Physics from Hyderabad University in 2015 and joined the group in July 2023. His research area is focused on DFT study of 2D materials emphasizing on 2D magnets.
