PRODUCTION PROCESS LABORATORY

Production Process Laboratory provides students with the opportunity to study and practice manufacturing processes. This lab provides students experiential learning with the nature and technique of manufacturing processes. Students can set up and operate machines, manufacture parts, measure process variables, and inspect manufactured parts.

2	DRILLING MACHINE A drilling machine is a tool primarily used for making round holes or driving fasteners. It is fitted with a bit, either a drill or driver, depending on application, secured by a chuck. Make:Pathak
3	SHAPER MACHINE A shaper machine is a reciprocating type of machine basically used for producing horizontal, vertical or flat surfaces. The shaper holds the single point cutting tool in ram and work piece is fixed in the table. Make:Pathak
4	POWER HACKSAW MACHINE It is a metal-cutting machine tool that has a crosscut sawblade as cutting member. The power hacksaw is used for cutoff sawing of blanks. The cut maybe perpendicular or at an angle to the axis of the blank. Most Power hacksaws are driven by electric power through a mechanical transmission. Make:Pathak
